Richard Jamieson

Richard is a Director of The Adelante Group having 34 years’ experience across Banking, Property, Asset Management and Funds Management industries. He has mentored/coached C-suite executives across both for profit and not for profit sectors.

Richard’s career included C-Suite roles in New Zealand and Australia and he has worked extensively across the United Kingdom and Switzerland. He is deeply experienced in driving change in very large complex Top 10 ASX publicly listed organisations and smaller private companies and start-ups. This includes strategy, change management, regulatory environments, dealing with public market investors (debt and equity) and capital raisings across the globe. His C-suite experience is across CBA/Colonial, Westpac and Vicinity Centres having started his career at KPMG.

Richard has a passion for leadership, building high performance teams and draws upon his extensive experience in reshaping and building teams at all levels within large corporates. His strong EQ has allowed him to build passionate cultures of high performance and attract and retain the very best talent. He is deeply committed to growing the careers of others to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes.

Richard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has done management courses at INSEAD. He has served as a Director of both for profit and not for profit organisations in Australia.
